It wasn’t that flipping the bird provoked road rage: Instead, it was the physical act of giving the finger that led a Tacoma woman to lose control at the wheel, KING5 reports. The 23-year-old couldn’t change lanes because an SUV was in her way, so she brandished her middle finger. But as she did so, her car veered over and hit the SUV, causing it to roll over, while her own car wound up in a ditch further down the road. She and two other people were hospitalized with minor injuries, and the woman was charged with reckless driving. (More middle finger stories.)
