Beck: Jews 'Drive Me Out of My Mind'

'They're constantly talking' over each other, complains radio host

(Newser) – Here’s something Glenn Beck learned in Israel: Jews “drive me out of my mind when they talk over each other.” Though he says he loves “the Israelis” and the “Jewish people,” “they're constantly talking!” he said on his radio show. “I don't know how that society even functions." Beck has held that no one is “more pro-Israel or more pro-Jew than I am,” the Hollywood Reporter notes—but his Nazi references and attacks on Holocaust survivor George Soros have left Jewish groups fuming.

Israel is indeed the rudest and most talkative country in the world. Israelis are constantly putting each down verbally, but the thing is, ISraelis almost never first fight each other. Words that would immediately start an all out fist fight and brawl in the US, is the way Israelis regularly talk to each other. They have no concept of politeness. So while Israelis talk rudely to each other, they almost never raise a hand to each other either. In a way, it is an outlet. It extremely rare for ISraelis to shoot each other as well. People who go there and hear  Israelis talking at each other are shocked, even assuming they even understand Hebrew. So Glen is right on this score. Israelis just tell each other off all the time. This is the nature of their social intercourse. I think it became that way because the old socialists considered polite talk as "bourgeois" and felt that Israeli Jews should not be meek and talk straight, no matter how rude or painful. It's very hard for Israelis to get used to talking the way most westerners, especially Americans talk to each other, with a veneer of politeness. You'll never hear an ISraeli say to another Israeli "Have  a nice day. " :) On the other hand, they don't use curse words much, just straight, very rude language. For example, if you are lost in Israel and ask somebody for directions, he might ask you what you are doing there? :) Just to rub you the wrong way :)
