(Newser) – You already knew Lady Gaga’s dedication to her drag performance at the VMAs was so intense that she didn’t drop character, even backstage. But apparently it was even more intense than we all presumed: so much so that she wore a prosthetic penis, which Us cutely refers to as a “little monster in her pants,” during the award show. Not so much, according to Kelly Osbourne and other Twitter users, who quickly picked up on the fact that Annie Lennox also performed in very similar-looking drag at the Grammy Awards in 1984. (NEWSER) - Katy Perry won the top prize at last night's MTV Video Music Awards, in an event that was dominated by women. Perry took home three Moonmen, including one for video of the year for "Firework," reports the Hollywood Reporter. "There's nothing like your first time, your first Moonman, right?" said Perry as she accepted her award. "Now this is a time you want to interrupt me right, Kanye?" she asked Mr. West, who has been known to do that sort of thing .
