Tragedy struck the city of Yaroslavl, Russia on Wednesday morning as a jet carrying the city's hockey team crashed immediately after takeoff, killing 43 of the 45 passengers on board, while the only two survivors sustained very serious injuries.
The team was on its way to Minsk on the Soviet Era Yak-42 jet, where it was going to open its season against Dynamo Minsk on Thursday. Read the full article.
