(Newser) – If you’re paranoid that the Mayans might have been right about the Dec. 21, 2012 apocalypse, then maybe you should start sucking up to the people at Pink Visual. The LA-based porn studio says it’s building a lavish “post-apocalyptic” bunker, complete with fully-stocked bars, performance stages, and a studio to keep its websites going—“even if those websites are only available on the bunker’s self-contained local network by that time,” a spokesman tells CBS Los Angeles.

“Our goal is nothing less than to survive the apocalypse to come in comfort and luxury,” the spokesman said. The bunker will accommodate 1,200 to 1,500, the spokesman tells LA Weekly, with Pink Visual site members and Twitter followers likely getting first crack at the space via a lottery, says the rep. "If nothing else, it'll be a fantastic one-night party," he adds, "and the company will be left behind with the coolest bunker known to man." Click to see a schematic of the space, which includes, of course, a coed glass shower.

I don't see a space for a medical clinic to handle those post-apocalyptic burning sensations.
