Sean Taylor's death this week wasn't the result of a robbery gone horribly wrong, says Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antrel Rolle, a childhood friend and college teammate. "They've been targeting him for three years now," Rolle said, referring to "jealous, angry" ex-friends from whom Taylor had been distancing himself recently, Sports Illustrated reports.

"It absolutely was not a burglary," Rolle said, adding, "At least, he's got peace now." The two first played together when they were six, and were both first-round draft picks from the University of Miami. Both wore No. 21: "Every time I make a play, I'm definitely going to mention him. I'm going to represent my 21 as his 21." (More Sean Taylor stories.)
