The good news: At 81, it’s still possible to find love again, at least if you’re Buzz Aldrin. The bad news: If said love is found with a woman 30 years your junior, after a messy divorce that isn’t quite finalized yet, your ex-wife is likely to publicly call out your new girlfriend as a “predator.” The former astronaut is dating former Borders marketing exec Michelle Sucillon, whom he met at a signing for his book in 2009. The whole thing is “kind of scandalous,” his soon-to-be ex-wife, Lois Driggs Cannon, tells the New York Post.
Aldrin filed for divorce in June, after 23 years of marriage. “We’ve had a great life, and I don’t blame Buzz, I blame the girl. She’s a predator, that’s my opinion,” Cannon says, adding that she attended the book signing where the couple met, and noted that Sucillon was “kind of aggressive.” The pair was recently spotted “making out like teenagers” on an Acela train, the Post notes. “There are women out here in Los Angeles that go after men, they go after celebrities,” Cannon says. “Women should leave married men alone.” (More Buzz Aldrin stories.)
