US Plans to Rebuild Afghanistan's Economy

(User Submitted) – In Remarks at the World Bank High-Level Meeting on Afghanistan, published under US Policy by the US Embassy in Brussles,
Thomas Nides, Deputy Secretary for Management and Resources Washington, DC and outlines the following plans:

In an effort to reduce the threat to the US of terrorism from Afghanistan. Making Afghanistan a "cross roads of commerce" which will require building their infrastructure, rail roads, electrical infrastructure and so on. Now that we are withdrawing our troops we will put the money saved on that back into creating a New Afghan as well as attracting private investment to Afghan.
