Warren Buffett sounds pretty content to be at the center of the nation's tax debate: He said today that he'd be happy to release his tax returns as critics have demanded—provided fellow billionaire Rupert Murdoch did the same, reports Reuters. Why Murdoch? His News Corp owns the Wall Street Journal, whose conservative editorial board has been among the biggest critics of Buffett's call to tax the ultra-wealthy. “Ask the Journal’s boss Rupert Murdoch,” Buffett said in response to a question at a Fortune magazine conference. “He and I will meet at Fortune. ... I’m ready tomorrow morning.” (More Warren Buffett stories.)
