Rolex has just signed the world's 51st-ranked golfer to an endorsement deal, a guy by the name of Tiger Woods. It's the first major deal for Woods since the scandal, though no terms were announced, reports the Wall Street Journal. (Safe to say it's probably more lucrative than the Japanese muscle rub deal from earlier this year.) In a sign of how far his star has fallen, the Journal notes that Woods once ranked 11th as a product pitchman, as measured by appeal to consumers. He's now 2,775th. As for his golfing, Bleacher Report offers five reasons why he won't contend this weekend at the Frys.com Open. (More Tiger Woods stories.)
