Chris Martin is notoriously private when it comes to his relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow—but that all changed this weekend. In a CBS News interview that aired yesterday, the Coldplay frontman admitted that his marriage is actually his first serious relationship. Going from "being a loser to going out with an Oscar winner" is a "giant leap," he added. "Let’s face it: It’s like winning the lottery."
And that was the second time Martin talked about his wife in as many days: In an interview published in the Daily Mail Saturday, he said Paltrow is “a good actress. I am biased but I am also right. The Royal Tenenbaums is one of her best performances." He also addressed her recent comments implying that cheating on your spouse isn’t so bad. “Did she say that? I don’t read any of these things,” he said, before joking, “Right, well, I’m a notorious love rat and I think that’s what she’s going on about.” Click for more.
