LT Leads SD Over KC With 2nd Half TDs
San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson (21) breaks loose for a 28-yard touchdown run during an NFL football game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007 in Kansas City, Mo. The Chargers won 24-10. (AP Photo/Ed Zurga)   (Associated Press)

LaDainian Tomlinson took control after halftime, scoring both of the second half's touchdowns, and the Chiefs continued their spiral out of football relevance. Kansas City highlights were limited to a touchdown by hulking defensive end Jared Allen and a team-record 81-yard punt by Dustin Colquitt. In early AFC East road-win action:

  • Rookie John Beck (five turnovers) and his winless Dolphins made the 3-9 Jets look like worldbeaters in a 40-13 rout.
  • Still mourning the shooting death of safety Sean Taylor, Washington kept Buffalo out of the end zone but still fell, 17-16, on a last-minute field goal.
