Texas improved to 7-0 with a little help from D.J. Augustin and Damion James, whose 19 points apiece pushed the Longhorns past UCLA for a 63-61 win. The second-ranked Bruins got 14 points from Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and just 24 minutes of play from Kevin Love. In other top-25 games:

  • Unranked Arizona came back from 20 behind to stun ninth-ranked Texas A&M, 78-67, as the Aggies couldn't crack 35% shooting in the second half.
  • O.J. Mayo played the whole 40 minutes but his 19 points couldn't secure the Trojans a win over Kansas' team effort, leaving USC short 59-55.
