Conservatives in Virginia checked their email today and found an image of President Obama with a bullet through his head—courtesy of Loudon County's Republican committee. The image portrayed Obama as a zombie, with a bleeding hole in his forehead and part of his skull missing, the Washington Post reports. State party chair Pat Mullins responded by saying that "the disgusting image used today on a mass email has no place in our politics. Ever."
First revealed on the Too Conservative blog, the email also shows Nancy Pelosi with a deformed face and a bulging eye. "We are going to vanquish the zombies with clear thinking conservative principles and a truckload of Republican candy," the email says. With Mullins demanding an apology, Loudon County's party chair backpedaled heavily, calling the email "a light-hearted attempt to inject satire humor into the Halloween holiday. ...
