Kim Kardashian: I Married for Love

Kim Kardashian will have you know that she married for love, and she most certainly did not make millions off her wedding. The reality star clarified those two points in a blog post yesterday, insisting that she “would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!” Even less believably, she writes that “contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make.” She does acknowledge that it “maybe … turned out to not be the smartest decision.” But as for why she made the ill-advised decision to even get married, she says she “maybe … rushed in to something too soon.” (Check out her entire lengthy post or shorter ones from Kourtney and Khloe.)

Kim’s mom Kris Jenner also denied the family made any money off the wedding, although TMZ begs to differ. As for the wedding gifts, Kim promised to donate money to cover them to the Dream Foundation; sources tell TMZ she’ll write a $200,000 check. More:

  • Kim is telling her friends that Kris Humphries’ family hated her and never wanted them to marry. Sources tell TMZ that Kim accuses them of “belittling” her and being “nasty” to her and her family.
  • Remember Reggie Bush, who Kim met for lunch right before filing for divorce? Well, according to MediaTakeOut, she actually wants to get back together with him—but during that lunch, her ex told her “he would not do anything with her unless she was single,” a source says. “She had to get an official divorce before he would ever even consider having a physical relationship.”
