An Occupy Oakland protester discovered what happens when you videotape a scary-looking row of riot police: You get shot. Scott Campbell was recording the cops last week when one suddenly fired a rubber bullet or bean bag that hit the videographer, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. As the video shows, Campbell keeled over in agony yelling, "Ow, ow, ow, ow." He was treated by Occupy medics, and says he plans to consult a lawyer before making his next move.

“I thought it would be a good idea, since I had a camera, to film the police," Campbell says. “I just stood there." On his YouTube post he adds that "there was no violence or confrontations of any kind underway.” (In other Occupy news, one Vancouver protester was found dead, and Oakland protesters decried outsiders who turned a peaceful demonstration into a violent clash with police.)
