Forget Those Faster-Than-Light Neutrinos From CERN

(User Submitted) – Oh well, it looks like that warp drive is not coming soon after all.

Remember those faster-than-light neutrinos at CERN a few weeks ago? Well, it stumped everybody at the time but it looks like Dr. Ronald van Elburg at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands has come up with a theory that may stand up and will disprove the speedy neutrino discovery.

His explanation is gaining acceptance. It turns out that when they used a satellite GPS system to time the flight of those neutrinos they made a little error. Turns out Einstein was right after all.

The paper with all the gory details is here: http://arxiv.org/abs/1110.2685 Read the full article.
