Jerry Sandusky admits he showered and played with young boys, but insists he is not a pedophile. "I say that I am innocent of those charges," Sandusky tells Bob Costas in an NBC interview airing tonight. Asked whether he is a pedophile, Sandusky says, "No." Currently out on a $100,000 bond, the former Penn State football coach is facing 40 counts of molesting eight boys at the school since 1994, MSNBC reports.

"I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact," says Sandusky. Asked by Costas whether he did anything wrong, Sandusky responds: "I shouldn't have showered with those kids." The phone interview is scheduled to air on NBC News' Rock Center at 10pm East Coast time. (More Jerry Sandusky stories.)
