(Newser) – Robin Gibb, one of two surviving Bee Gees, is battling liver cancer. The 61-year-old singer has appeared increasingly frail in recent months. Brother Barry, 65, traveled from the US to Britain to be by Gibb's side after he was hospitalized with intense abdominal pain last week. He was released later that day. Gibb—whose twin brother, Maurice, died of a heart attack in 2003 during surgery for a twisted intestine—is married to a druid priestess and plans to investigate alternative therapies, according to the Daily Mail.
