A 57-story luxury condo going up near Miami Beach doesn't think residents should actually have to leave their cars to ride the elevator to their units. Instead, they will ride the glass elevator up in the comfort of their vehicles, reports the Miami Herald. At the appropriate floor, a robotic arm will move the car out of the elevator into a spot near the resident's door.

“You don’t have to leave your car until you are in front of your apartment,” says the CEO of the Porsche Design Group, which is putting up the $560 million tower in Sunny Isles Beach with a local developer. It's expected to have 132 units—which will cost about $9 million apiece. “We want to keep this really exclusive and not have this become a McDonald’s kind of style," says the developer.
