Defense didn't rule in Toronto tonight as the Phoenix Suns scored 45 points in the third quarter of a 136-123 victory over the Raptors. And, no, that was not in overtime. Canadian native Steve Nash had 18 assists and as usual pushed the Suns in transition all night. "They just beat us," Toronto's coach told the Globe and Mail.

Both teams shot above 55 percent from the field, but the Suns, despite coming off a tough win Tuesday night at Indiana, looked like the fresher team overall with seven players scoring in double figures. Toronto was forced to play in front of a sellout crowd without All-Star Chris Bosh and also Andrea Bargnani. The Suns' record stands at 15-4. (More NBA stories.)
