Tot Vanishes After Dad Reports Carjacking
Bianca Jones vanished while she was in the care of her father, Deandre Lane.   (Detroit police department)

Another toddler has mysteriously disappeared, this time in Detroit. A father reported his 2-year-old daughter, Bianca Jones, was taken in an armed carjacking. Police located the car just six blocks away 30 minutes later with the engine still running, and the girl missing. The father, Deandre Lane, has failed a polygraph test, sources tell WXYZ-TV in Detroit, and is now in police custody on outstanding warrants. A local businessman has offered a $15,000 reward for information leading to Bianca's return.

Her mom appealed to anyone who might have the girl: "Just please take her to a hospital, a church, anywhere, and just leave her somewhere safe, anywhere we can find her." Bianca's disappearance follows a spate of vanishing children, including a mom who said her young son vanished from her car while she walked to get gas, and a Missouri baby whose parents said she was taken from her crib in the middle of the night.
