Boy Suspended After Calling Teacher 'Cute'

9-year-old made comment to fellow student

(Newser) – A North Carolina school has suspended a 9-year-old boy for calling his teacher cute—and not even to her face, WSOC-TV reports. Chiquita Lockett says her boy Emanyea made the comment to a fellow student about a substitute teacher. "It's not like he went up to the woman and tried to grab her or touch her in a sexual way," she says. "So why would he be suspended for two days?” The school district won't go into it, but says Emanyea was suspended over "inappropriate behavior" and "inappropriate statements."

We are in big trouble when we start limiting free speech for children. The boys school must be run my Nazi radicals who demand obedience. This is truly Political Correctness gone wrong.

This is insanity, but no surprise to me. After simply driving through N.Carolina, I know that too many of the people there are fucking LUNATICS!! The state no longer posts speed limits, since the ones that can read them think they are merely suggestions anyway!!

(NEWSER) - A 7-year-old boy in Boston has been accused of sexual harassment, but his mother says he was just defending himself from a bully, reports the Boston Globe . The Sunrise Elementary School in Fort Worth added McMillian to its title in 2003 to honor its first teacher. But it turns out Mrs. McMillan did not possess that second 'i" in her last name. (NEWSER) - North Carolina's Democratic Party is in turmoil after allegations of sexual harassment and a cover-up, the News & Observer reports. Executive Director Jay Parmley has resigned amid calls for both him and Party Chairman David Parker to step down. "Even though I have not done anything wrong, it is clear to me that I need to move on," Parmley wrote in a resignation letter. According to the Daily Caller , both Parmley and the alleged victim had signed non-disclosure agreements, although the emails obtained by the site don't make the identities of the victim or the alleged harasser clear.
