The troubled grandson of iconic film actress Rita Hayworth has been found dead in his Manhattan apartment in an apparent suicide. Andrew Ali Aga Khan Embiricos had battled drug addiction, and had attempted to commit suicide once before, friends told the New York Daily News. He was discovered by a concerned friend lying on his bed with a plastic bag over his head. Embiricos, 25, founded a Facebook charity group that provided clothing to homeless people, and also worked with HIV/AIDS groups and the Alzheimer’s Association. Alzheimer's killed Hayworth at the age of 68. Embiricos was the son of Greek shipping magnate Basil Embiricos and Princess Yasmin, 61, the daughter of Hayworth and her third husband, Ali Aga Khan IV.
