Dirk Nowitzki posted 32 points and 12 boards, but the Mavericks otherwise looked dreadful in a 122-109 collapse to Denver. On top of 33% shooting in the critical fourth quarter and 19 turnovers (to the Nuggets' eight), Dallas gave up a season high point tally in a game Nowitzki described as a "layup drill," reports the Dallas Morning News.

"They're not very pretty right now," Mavs president Donnie Nelson said of his team. Denver, on the other hand, pulled their defense together in the second half, with Allen Iverson adding six steals to his 35 points and 12 assists, and Marcus Camby slapping five blocks in addition to 14 rebounds.
