Rosemount High School, in the Minnesota town of the same name, is finding itself on the unfortunate end of a viral video that depicts a prank planned by the staff during a pep rally, in which blindfolded students received some passionate-looking kisses, and were then supposed to guess who the smoocher was. What the winter sports team captains didn't know was that they were locking lips with their parents.
As KARE 11 reports, the gag "went awry." "I know there are people who are upset about what they have seen and as principal I am responsible for what happens here. For all the people who are offended, they are genuinely offended, and I owe them an apology," said principal John Wollersheim, who also argued that the short clip wasn't a true reflection of the 30-minute assembly.
