Man Cuts Off Wife's Fingers for Studying: Cops

Migrant worker reportedly jealous of her education

(Newser) – First he blindfolded his wife and taped her mouth, saying he had surprise present for her. Then he cut off the fingers on her right hand, police say. Rafiqul Islam, 30, a migrant worker in the United Arab Emirates, reportedly confessed after committing the crime in his home country of Bangladesh. "He was enraged," a police chief tells the Daily Mail. "He was jealous because while he only had a grade eight standard education, she was off to college to pursue higher studies."

Wife Hawa Akhter, 21, says her husband warned her of "severe consequences" if she didn't abandon her studies. Now she plans to resume studying with her good hand; her fingers were thrown out by her husband and can't be reattached. The alleged attack is only the latest in Bangladesh, a Muslim-majority country where a jobless man recently gouged out his wife's eyes because she pursued a higher education. Ok, once again Islam at its best!  Keep suppressing the women and the men shall rule.  Yup, the US is supposed to graciously accept Muslims with open arms.  "They won't hurt us, they are misunderstood",  The US population is just too intolerant some say.  Well, until these groups prove themselves otherwise, I'm going to continue being one of those bigoted, racist people who are leary of all Muslims and I'm not sorry about admitting it.

And we're suppose to be so tolerant and accepting to this? Cant wait to see the womens groups and civil rights orgs tear in to this one. Just more proof of how barbaric and savage these animals are.  Women cant show anything but their eyes because the men cant control basic human urges, women cant be in public without a male member of the family, women arent allowed to excel in academia or business.  But the rest of the world is being forced to cater to them. We are being told that we are the ones who are intolerant, racist, bigoted, phobic if we dont embrace them as members of a civilized society. Think I'm lying? Prove me wrong.

This is typical of how men treat women is isslammic countries.  America's liberals are oh so toleratnt of isslamm, while isslamm is so intolerant of just about everything and everyone.  Someone should cut this guys penoid off so he can not father any more terrorists.
