Huntsman on Iowa: They Pick Corn There
Which is why he's perfectly happy to have focused on New Hampshire

(Newser) – Don't expect to see Jon Huntsman shaking in his boots on Tuesday. The GOP candidate could care less about the Iowa caucuses, and has no qualms about his decision to ignore the state in favor of New Hampshire. Talking to CBS' The Early Show today (from Manchester, NH, of course), he summed up how it all works for the rest of America: "They pick corn in Iowa. They actually pick presidents here in New Hampshire."

Huntsman says he started "at zero," as the "underdog," but thanks to his efforts in the state, "market expectations are going to be higher" by the Jan. 10 primary, "and we're going to have to exceed those market expectations." (Click here for Nate Silver's take on how Huntsman could win.)
