(User Submitted) – Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio wanted to inspire his football team before Monday's Outback Bowl in Tampa, so he hired an animal trainer to wrestle an alligator during practice last week.

The trainer dressed up as a MIchigan State football player. Only problem? The alligator was faster than the trainer. The team was shocked when the alligator chomped on the trainer's leg and refused to release. The gator was so fast, the team didn't even see it strike. "It was incredible," one player said.

Fortunately it turned out okay. The animal handler eventually escaped with minor injuries and the Spartans defeated the Georgia Bulldogs 33-30. Read the full article.
