Gunfire hit six people as they stepped off a Las Vegas school bus around 2pm today, the AP reports. One adult male was hurt critically and one teenage male seriously after both were shot in the torso, a hospital spokeswoman said. Four others received minor gun shot wounds, and one has been released. Police suspect at least two gunmen in the shooting.

The bus came from Mojave High School, which has a third black, a third Hispanic, and a quarter white population of about 2,300 students. The school plans to open tomorrow with boosted security measures and support services. Police have cordoned off the working class neighborhood where the shooting occurred and called in a gang unit to investigate. (More Las Vegas stories.)
