James Returns, Cavs Snap Skid

(Newser) – LeBron James came off the bench to help Cleveland beat Indiana 118-105 and snap a six-game losing streak. James had missed the previous five games with a sprained left index finger. He played 22 minutes and scored 17 points as the Cavaliers had their best offensive performance of the year so far, setting a season high in points, reports the AP.

It was the first time that James came off the bench in his 333 game professional career. Also making a return to Cleveland’s lineup was Anderson Varejao, who re-joined the Cavaliers' roster after a messy contract dispute that led to a contract offer from the Bobcats. Mike Dunleavy led the Pacers with 23 points, while Jermaine O’Neal chipped in 18 in the losing cause.
