(Newser) – After a British teenager invited a few friends to a party on MySpace, over 200 non-virtual revelers trashed her family's house. In a story being circulated by alarmed parents all over the Commonwealth, 17-year-old Rachael Bell's parents came back from vacation to find $48,000 worth of damage to their home. "Whoever has come in here are worse than animals," mum says.

Rachel blames the vandalism on teenagers she claims hacked into her site and advertised the party as an 'Unofficial Skins Party', after the British TV drama "Skins." The modified invite carried the subtitle: "Let's trash the average family-sized house disco party." Rachel is staying at a friend's house for an agreed-upon "cooling off period."
