(Newser) – Hacked by Anonymous a week ago, Boston police fought back ... with a little dry humor, Naked Security reports. Anonymous broke into BPDNews.com on Feb. 3 and substituted its usual police and crime news with a video of rapper KRS-One performing his song, "Sound of Da Police." So Boston cops made a video of officers reacting in a comically straight-faced manner. Says one: "My reaction was, 'Why would anybody want to destroy a perfectly good KRS-One song?'"

Another explains he was in Dunkin' Donuts when the server notified him of the attack. "Normally I sleep pretty well," he adds, "but since the site went down, I haven’t slept a wink." Finally, "computer guru" officer Chao Lin lays fears to rest: Asked, "Are you confident the issue has been addressed?" he slowly deadpans, "I'm confident the issue has been addressed." So cops do watch The Office.
