(Newser) – Eerie news from TMZ: Less than 24 hours before her mother was found dead in a hotel bathtub, Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was also found asleep in a tub in the same hotel. Bobbi Kristina's friends called security on Friday night after knocking on the door of her room repeatedly, with no response. TMZ also reports that family members fear the 18-year-old, who has been hospitalized twice since Houston's death, may be suicidal. One source says the family is considering rehab for her.

Dad Bobby Brown skipped out on a scheduled concert appearance with New Edition in Nashville last night, instead flying to Los Angeles to be with his daughter, a rep confirms to People. Meanwhile, Tony Bennett responded to Houston's death by suggesting we legalize drugs. Performing at the pre-Grammy party thrown by Houston mentor Clive Davis, Bennett said, "First it was Michael Jackson, then Amy Winehouse, now the magnificent Whitney Houston. Let's legalize drugs, like Amsterdam, it's a very sane city now." But authorities actually believe Houston's death can be blamed on prescription drugs.

Tony Bennett is just one more example of why the glitterati should limit their public comments to matters about which they actually know something.

If you sing, dance, or pretend your someone else in front of a camera, or even if your just related to one of those people, you get whatever drugs you want and how ever much you want. a person has to be diluted to think that a drug is less harmful because it's a prescription drug. I saw someone say "Whitney's number one priority in life was being a mother." LMAO yeah right, she was a selfish drug addict that took her own daughter down the same path. She had a really pretty voice though, so i guess we'll just keep saying nice things.
