(Newser) – The body of a 5-year-old Italian girl, believed to be the youngest victim of the Costa Concordia disaster, was discovered today, along with seven other bodies. Due to the treacherous conditions, rescue officials weren't sure how long it would take to surface all the bodies from the deck where they were found. The verified death toll now sits at 25, with seven still missing.

The Telegraph notes that the young girl's father was also among the missing; it's not clear if his was one of the bodies found today. He was last spotted returning to his cabin to collect life-saving medication he needed in the wake of a kidney and pancreas transplant. (In other Costa Concordia news, cocaine was found on the captain's hair.)

After due process, and a finding of guilt, seize and sell off the company &/or its for sanctioning the events leading to this travesty. If we cannot throw the corporate "person" in jail, we ought to be able to imprison it somehow.
