Sacha Baron Cohen Spills 'Ashes' on Ryan Seacrest

And not just any ashes ... Kim Jong Il's

(Newser) – Sacha Baron Cohen-as-Dictator was dis-invited to the Oscars then invited again. And, as expected, he did something a little outrageous: spilled "ashes." Belonging to "Kim Jong-Il." Onto E! host Ryan Seacrest's tuxedo. Flanked by two flower girls, Baron Cohen jokingly claimed to be carrying the ashes of the late North Korean leader, whose face was displayed on the container.

In an interview with Seacrest, he claimed it was Kim's dream "to be sprinkled over the red carpet and over Halle Berry's chest." Then, as Seacrest was bending down, Baron Cohen spilled the ashes over Seacrest's tuxedo. The AP notes that even Seacrest looked shaken as he attempted to dust himself off; security muscled Baron Cohen away. Said Seacrest: "Anything can happen and it most certainly did, all over my lapel."

Brilliant!! I love how there are so many uptight people commenting how disgusting it was, just makes it funnier. NO ONE CARES THAT YOU ARE OFFENDED! Get over yourselves and lighten up!

Love Tina Fey for "bowing" at the ashes. She really knows how to take something funny and build on it. Must have been all her time as an improv comedienne.
