Curry Comes Up Empty as Bulls Drop Knicks

Posted Dec 15, 07 5:06 AM CST in Sports

(Newser) – Eddy Curry found himself benched for the final half hour in his current team's loss to his former Chicago Bulls, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Zach Randolph filled Curry's void for the Knicks with 27 points and 15 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to get past the Bulls, who won 101-96. Elsewhere in the NBA:

  • Despite getting only seven points from Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas eked out a win over a flailing New Orleans, holding their big stars to even worse numbers.
  • Although the Lakers have won 14 of their last 15 against Golden State, Baron Davis led the Warriors to a 108-106 victory to surprise Los Angeles fans and snap a 9-game skid.
