(Newser) – As his girlfriend Jessica Simpson looked on, Tony Romo and the flashy Dallas offense sputtered at home against Philadelphia in a 10-6 upset. Romo had three picks and a grisly 36% completion rate; Terrell Owens caught just two passes. The loss dropped Dallas to 12-2, ostensibly tied with Green Bay for NFC home-field advantage. In the AFC:

  • The injury-decimated Colts hung on against the Raiders, 21-14, for their fifth straight AFC South title and a first-round playoffs bye.
  • The Chargers clinched the AFC West with a 51-14 humbling of the Lions, who have now lost six since a dazzling 6-2 start.
