Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, Rachel Weisz not going under the knife

(NEWSER) - Get ready for wrinkles. That's the word from 35-year-old actress Kate Winslet, who, along with pals Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz, is taking a vow against plastic surgery and Botox. They've even launched the British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League. "It goes against my morals, the way my parents brought me up, and what I consider to be natural beauty," Winslet tells the Telegraph . As for Botox, she explains: "I'm an actress. I don't want to freeze the expression of my face." Daughter 'squealed with delight,' boasts proud mother

(NEWSER) - A mom who likes to consider herself a " Human Barbie " had a special birthday surprise for her 7-year-old daughter: A coupon for a boob job. Daughter Poppy "begged me for a boob job, so I gave her the voucher so she can have it after she's 16, when it's legal," said Sarah Burge, 50. "If she develops naturally big boobs, she can have something else done with it," added the British mom, who claims to hold the world record for most money spent on plastic surgery (some $700,000). Number of breast implants rises by 40% over the last decade

(NEWSER) - Plastic surgery has undergone quite the boom and, ahem, bust cycle over the past decade. The number of breast implants is up 40%, with about 300,000 women having them done in 2010, while the number of breast lifts rose 70% to 90,000, the New York Times reports. Meanwhile, more traditional procedures are down—nose jobs by 35%, face-lifts by 16%, and liposuctions by 43%. More»

(NEWSER) - Forget Botox: If you want to look young as you grow older, just gain a few pounds, according to Heidi Klum. "The ultimate beauty secret for a woman getting older is, Don't be too thin!" she tells Self . "When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt in the face, and that makes you look older by five or 10 years."
