(Newser) – Protests over the shooting of Trayvon Martin continued today as hundreds of students walked out of class at several South Florida high schools. At one, students formed the initials T and M on an athletic field, reports MSNBC. (Click the link to see video.)
"For the most part they are being organized and are being supported by the school family as an outpouring show of support," said a public school spokesperson. Click to read about President Obama's comments on the tragedy.

Ok.... when was it americans forgot how to protest? Pissed at the way our government lets wall street handle ya? Go ahead and camp out in new york, forget bringing your protest to the policy makers in washington. Pissed at how the police are handling the shooting of a local kid? Walk out of class, miss out on your education. NO WAY would you EVER think about demonstrating anywhere near a legal building or the police station? Man.... say what you want about coups but at least in Mali they went to the source of what was pissing them off.

Well good for them.  Then they will whine if they miss an important test and fail a semester
