It's not every day that you see a former CIA employee reaming out the agency on social media, but that's exactly what Lynnae Williams does. Williams, 35, had a four-month stint as a CIA trainee in 2009 before she was sent to the agency's mental hospital—or, as she refers to it, "psychological prison"—and then terminated, the Daily Beast reports. Now she's airing her grievances on Twitter, and her blog, CIA Corrupt.

Williams' writing doesn't appear to ever stray far from her own case, or to expose any actual corruption, but a US intelligence officer tells the Beast that the blog is a "hot topic" in the intelligence community. "I did not think of myself as a whistle blower," she says, but "I suppose it would be an appropriate term." Williams is seeking legal redress from the agency, but experts say courts are unlikely to take up security clearance decisions, and the ACLU has declined to help. (More Lynnae Williams stories.)
