The wife of the JetBlue pilot who had a breakdown in the middle of a flight issued a heartfelt thanks yesterday to all the people on the flight who subdued her husband, and got the plane down safely, reports MSNBC. "We know you were placed in an awful situation, and we appreciate your ability to respond professionally," said the wife of Clayton Osbon in a statement. "It is our belief that while he was clearly distressed, he was not intentionally violent toward anyone." The family is now concentrating on Clayton's recovery, and "the path that lies immediately ahead," added Connye Osbon. (More JetBlue stories.)
