White Males Will Be Minority Among House Democrats

January will be a milestone for American politics

(Newser) – For the first time in history, a political party will soon be represented in Congress by a majority of female and minority lawmakers. The Cook Political Report predicts that white males will make up 46% to 48% of House Democrats when the new Congress is sworn in next January, reports USA Today. That's down from 53% in 2010—and 98% in 1950. By contrast, white males will comprise 86% of House Republicans.

The only minority statistic that is important is that the Democrats remain the minority in the House. I don't care what demographic that minority of socialists consists of.

How old is this woman now-81? I guess the white house has got to her head. The trend that will come will be the new team in the White House that will represent the people and this country in a right and fair way.And that means pelosi can find another job!

White males make up 36.2 percent of the population. This electoral trend has a little ways to go before reaching a demographically accurate representation, but the Democrats are very much on the right track, with only 10-12% of their members in Congress over-representing white males. All indications are that this trend will continue, so pretty soon we should see accurate representation across the board. From Democrats, that is. Republicans, you are a pasty-white laughingstock.
