Oops! Brit's Sis Preggers at 16

Posted Dec 19, 07 4:55 AM CST in Gossip Arts & Living

(Newser) – Another Spears may be headed for parenting woes. Britney's kid sister, Jamie Lynn, has announced that she's 12 weeks pregnant. The 16-year-old Louisiana high school student, star of the  Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101," met her boyfriend and the father of the baby, Casey Aldridge, at church, Reuters reports. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he," she said.

Her mom was stunned, too. "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew," said Lynne Spears. Jamie Lynn said teens should know it's "better to wait" and not have premarital sex. She hopes to give the baby a "normal family life" in Louisiana.
