Viagra just got some more competition: The FDA today approved the drug Stendra, which promises to provide an erection in 15 minutes, roughly twice as fast as the minimum wait time for Viagra, reports Bloomberg. Its analysts expect Vivus to pull in nearly $70 million in sales next year. By contrast, Viagra had $2 billion last year.

The drug, under the generic name avanafil, works the same as Viagra and Cialis in that it increases blood flow, notes the Wall Street Journal. Vivus has another potential winner in the blocks: It's awaiting an FDA decision on Qnexa, which would be the first anti-obesity drug on the market in 13 years. (More Vivus stories.)
