(Newser) – It's been dubbed the "nerd prom." But last night a good chunk of Hollywood turned out to join President Obama, Washington power brokers, and the press corps at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, reports Politico. As for dresses, Kate Hudson's purple sequin gown was "AH-MAY-ZING!," declares Perez Hilton fashion blog Coco Perez. Charlize Theron looked "matronly," Lindsay Lohan's dress was "boring, uninspiring, and frumpty dumpty," and Elizabeth Banks was "effin' hawt." And as for Kim Kardashian's velvet number, well, at least she kept "her goodies in the jar."

Now that "celebrities" have taken over and this is a red carpet affair, I'm not interested. Yawn. Lindsay Lohan, Kardashians, etc. Are you kidding? Disgusting. Keep these dirtbags out of Washington please.

Nerd prom? More like pond scum. A cackle of rads, squawking, bleating, & mewling.
