T.O. Tells Jessica: Leave Romo Alone!

Posted Dec 19, 07 10:26 PM CST in Sports

(Newser) – T.O. has a message for Jessica Simpson: Stay away from Romo. Simpson showed up at Sunday's game to cheer on QB boyfriend Tony Romo, but after his poor performance in the Cowboys' loss to the Eagles, Owens added his voice to those of the legions of sports-radio fans who think the singer is bad juju.

"Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite—in this locker room or in Texas Stadium," Owens said. Romo (who's got a bum thumb, too) played almost as poorly when his last squeeze, Carrie Underwood, came to watch. Explained Owens, "Obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away."
