(Newser) – A British doctor working for the Red Cross in Pakistan has been found beheaded after being kidnapped in January, reports the Guardian. The body of Khalil Rasjed Dale was found in an orchard just outside of Quetta, with a note saying he had been killed by the Taliban. Dale was driving a Red Cross vehicle, just 700 feet from the Red Cross's entrance, when gunmen abducted him. His kidnappers said they killed him because no one would pay his ransom. "It's dreadful what has happened to him, really awful," said a former colleague. "The world has lost someone who really cared for others."

Aid workers have done so much good across this globe to people deserving of care.  What is wrong is the psychopaths in charge.  Time for aid workers to stay home.
