(Newser) – Several people have been hospitalized after an explosion near Nigerian government buildings. Police gathered at a road junction where the explosion occurred, near the headquarters of the governor of Taraba, a normally calm state that borders Cameroon, the AP reports. It's the latest in a series of recent blasts in the country, including yesterday's attack on church services at a university; the death toll in that assault has now reached at least 21.
