(Newser) – The sex tape John Edwards recorded with mistress Rielle Hunter while he was running for president will not be played at his trial, but the judge has cleared the way for jurors to hear about it. Both sides have agreed that testimony about the tape can be introduced, and Edwards' lawyers have signaled that they plan to determine whether former Edwards aide Andrew Young stole the tape from Hunter and tried to sell it, or used it to threaten Edwards as his efforts to hush up the affair fell apart, ABC reports. Jurors will be spared the sight of Edwards frolicking with his mistress in a tape that may play a key role in his trial.

It's amazing how this man gets "raked over the coals" in a time of  Superpacs.   They can spend money on anything that they want to.  Superpacs can lie & destroy people's lives while their "host" candidates can say, "Who. me?" Just watch what commercials come out on behalf of Mitt Romney & against Obama.  The fact that some Americans buy the b.s. conservatives dish out is the very reason why Republicans love Superpacs.
